The Baltimore Metropolitan region welcomed the construction of a Kaiser Permanente outpatient facility in 2021. The comprehensive care facility provides area residents with daily primary care, and offers 24-hour Advanced Urgent Care, 24-hour radiology and laboratory services, and extended weekday and weekend pharmacy hours.
The HVAC technologies employed by Critical Systems further supported Kaiser’s desire for expedited delivery of the project. Critical Systems engineers worked alongside Carnariis, a Central Utility Plant (CUP) designer and fabricator, delivering a packaged HVAC water plant to the project ahead of schedule and within budget. The CUP was designed with ease of installation in mind, with significantly expedited jobsite commissioning processes due to factory testing of the CUP prior to shipment and signoff by responsible signatories.
